The “Hap” Arnold Club was dedicated as the General “Hap” Arnold Club on October 26, 1980, and is now the only Air Force Club to honor an individual.  It was named after the Commander of March Field from 1931 - 1936.  Originally called the March Field Officers’ Club & Mess, it was one of the final buildings completed as part of the base reconstruction period (1927 - 1934), featuring the Spanish architecture common to the base.  Over the years the facility has grown to more than 29,000 square feet.

Atrium

This historic facility features the Arnold Conference Center/Ballroom.  This room is used for all major conferences.  Mixers and dinners can be held in the same room.  Capacity for conferences is approximately 200.  For private functions, wedding receptions, luncheons and other social events, the capacity is approximately 350.  The California Bar, adjacent to the ballroom, can accommodate approximately 100 persons.  All capacity numbers are determined by the event.

Main Bar

Also included in the “Hap” Arnold Club are several other smaller rooms.  The “Atrium” is a beautiful open light room, that is excellent for private functions with a capacity of approximately 175 - 200, depending on the function.  The “Forum” room with a capacity of approximately 50 - 75 persons, is also an excellent room for smaller conferences, meetings, or social events.  The “Daedalian “ room can also be used for small meetings and conferences.  Its capacity is approximately 25 - 40.  Again all capacities are determined by the event.

Dining Room

The “Hap” Arnold Club encompasses the “Back Street Cafe”, the fast food mecca of March Field.  This unique facility offers a menu consisting of fresh made pizzas, two varieties of fried chicken, sandwiches and other specials, including beverages.  The club offers a full service dining room with variety menu and serves dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Sally's Alley

Located across the alley from the main club is the infamous “Sally’s Alley”. No trip to March Field is completed without a trip to this nostalgic casual bar or attend one of Sally's block party's.  The elite of the U.S. Air Force has signed the walls of Sally’s.  This is a very unique facility, which is rich with heritage and nostalgia.
