Highly Trained and Motivated Hospitality Team Providing Food, Beverage, Entertainment, and Related Programs Responsive to Our Customers
Historically, Air Force clubs have been an important element for fostering esprit de corps, camaraderie, and unit cohesion within the Air Force. Traditionally, clubs have provided support for official and protocol functions, contingency and emergency feeding in support of the Air Force mission, as well as being the social foundation for food, beverage, and entertainment programs for eligible officers, enlisted personnel, and civilians.
Clubs have an inherent responsibility that indirectly supports the mission, and directly contributes to the sense of community among airmen and their families.
Air Force clubs have a multitude of opportunities to support the mission and to create the "warrior environment" that links the club to time-honored institutional values. A few examples are:
OFFICIAL MILITARY AND PROTOCOL FUNCTIONS: Clubs host a myriad of official military and protocol functions such as change of command ceremonies, retirements and promotions, dining-ins, dining-outs, etc.
MILITARY SOCIAL EVENTS: Clubs are and will be available for a variety of events to include, military training graduations, airman recognition programs, organizational events, National Prayer Breakfasts, etc.
INSTITUTIONAL EVENTS: Clubs provide a venue for retiree and veteran events, Order of Daedalians, Air Force Association, Tuskegee Airmen Association, Air Force Sergeants' Association, Retired Officer and NCO Associations, Veterans of WWII Association, and many more.
INSTITUTIONAL DECOR: Clubs provide space to display and enjoy heritage, memorabilia, command and organizational items such as crests, pictures, flags, and tables. Historically, this venue for preservation of tradition has enhanced pride in self, pride in the unit, and pride in the Air Force.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT: Clubs support the installation with facilities for meetings and events as well as a place for informing people about community programs. Typically the club provides a meeting location for newcomers' orientation, squadron clubs, spouse clubs, CGOC, Chiefs' Group, First Sergeants, blood drives, and other Services and base organization activities and programs.
